Anyone can submit their favorite volunteering events, just sign up and fill out the simple event submission form HERE! Even though everyone can list the events for free on Long Island Volunteers! We also recognize that some events might need some extra love and attention; Featured Events function is here to help with that- With a fee, our team will place the events on the most prominent areas of the site, including: On the top of the Homepage, as well as on the sidebar of all event pages- making sure our passionate volunteers get to see your incredible events! After all your amazing events should gain the well-deserved attention, and opportunity to reach many more eager, dedicated volunteers. To add a new Event, please follow these 6 simple steps: 1. At Home page, click "Log In" at the top right of the navigation bar 2. Sign up with your Google, Facebook, or your Email address (If you already have an account, you could skip Step 2 and just log in your existing account) 3. Go back to Home page, click "Submit your Event!" button at the top right of the navigation bar, next to your profile picture. 4. Fill in all necessary information for your event 5. Hit "Submit" at the bottom of the form 6. Congratulation, you have successfully submitted your event with Long Island Volunteers! Once your submission is received, Long Island Volunteers will verify the information, confirm its credibility, and will proceed to post the event(s) on our platform within 48 hours. P.S. You could insert 1 promotional photo or the event flyer for the event. Please note- This would be the displaying image on the listing page. To insert Image, pleas follow these steps: 1. After logging in your account, hit "Submit your Event!" button on the top right of the navigation bar 2. Once inside the "Submit your Event" page, scroll down to the section listed as "Promotional photo of event*" 3. Below "Promotional photo of event*", there is a "Select File +" button, click and select your desired file 4. After selecting your Image or GIF file, click Open(O) or double click on your file to finish selecting. 5. Hit "Submit" button after filling in all the other information of your event, and you are done! Congratulation on adding Image/GIF on your event listing page!

Unfortunately there is no dedicated video section, however, you are welcomed to include Video Link(s), please follow these steps: 1. After logging in your account, hit "Submit your Event!" button on the top right of the navigation bar 2. Once inside the "Submit your Event" page, scroll down to the section "Additional Information" 3. Below "Additional Information" is a text box to leave extra important information. Please leave your video link(s) on the blank space provided 4. Hit "Submit" button after filling in all the other information of your event Your video link(s) will be available for the public to view!

If you want to correct or remove the event, please email us at (info@livolunteers.org) directly. To accelerate the correction/removal process, and minimize errors- Please include the "Event name & Date" in the Email Subject. In the Email context, please include: Name of the organization Contact person of the event Event Name Event Date & Time **Where should be edited, or if it should be removed Please allow 48 hours for all information to be verified. Long Island Volunteers will email you to confirm any changes or removal requests, once we receive your confirmation, the changes will be made as quickly as possible.

Long Island Volunteers offers free event listings to both organizations, and to the public. All events listed with us will be available to view on the website! For those seeking additional exposure, we invite organizations to feature their events in our "Featured Events" section for extra promotion and visibility. There is a fee for "Featured Events", however, our pricing is designed to be fair and transparent. The cost will vary based on the duration of the feature and the specific event type.
